EDIT: for those who can't watch it here, it's on Youtube as well: [link]
EDIT2: People who really want to critique this "walk". Please read the full description, watch the videos I'm linking here and perhaps...study animation before saying shit? Okay? Thank you.
I'm open to critiques, but only if the person knows what the heck they're talking about. obs: this was directed to a few people of course (those who obviously can't make a good critique).
A lot of people may "complain" about this unsual walk because they're not familiar with animals that move like that (two legs up from the same side in the air and almost hiting the floor at the same time, with a small delay)
So here a few videos so you can compare with the real maned wolf: [link] [link]
So I ask you not to critique it without looking at these or without some thought into your comment. THIS kind of walk is extremely common in animation. Take Shere Khan's animation for example AND REAL LIFE.
Finally done with this test. phew. I feel goooood now. x)
I'm extremely happy with the result in this one as I can see my improvement comparing to my last cycle. Quad animals can be really tricky. Besides some issues with the volumes, I think it's okay.
39 frames / on twos
There is no texture on the character yet.
Colored on PS.
The production is going slowly, but I'm excited with the results I'm getting. Wish me luck to finish it.
